Bashfield (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates bashfield.com and the Bashfield mobile apps. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have.

• Account information when you continue with Google or Sign in with Apple (such as your name, email address, and profile photo from the provider).

• Profile details you choose to add (display name, profile photo, phone or WhatsApp if you provide them on a listing).

• Listings you create (photos, descriptions, prices, locations, and property details).

• Messages you send to other users through Bashfield.

• Saved favorites, search and browse preferences, and in-app settings (such as language and theme).

• Technical data needed to run the service (device type, app version, crash logs, and security logs).

There is no separate registration form. The first time you continue with a provider, an account is created automatically. If Google and Apple return the same verified email, you keep one account. Apple Hide My Email may create a separate account when the relay address differs.

We use your information to operate Bashfield, show listings on maps and in search, let you message owners and agents, review listings before they go live, prevent abuse, respond to support requests, send service-related notifications where enabled, and improve reliability and security.

• Other users see what you publish (listings, public profile fields, and messages you send them).

• Service providers that help us run Bashfield, including hosting, database, authentication, file storage, maps, and sign-in (for example Supabase, Vercel, Google, and Apple). They process data only to provide their services to us.

• When required by law, to protect rights and safety, or to respond to valid legal requests.

We do not sell your personal information.

Listings include location you choose on a map. Map tiles and geocoding may be provided by third-party map services. We do not continuously track your precise device location unless you grant permission for a feature that requires it.

We keep information while your account is active and as needed to operate Bashfield, resolve disputes, enforce our terms, and meet legal obligations. When you delete your account, we remove or anonymize personal data where reasonably possible, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate security and backup purposes for a limited period.

You can update your profile, sign out, and delete your account in the app under Profile → Settings → Advanced → Delete account. You may contact us to ask about your data or to report a privacy concern.

Bashfield is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the revised policy on this page and update the “Last updated” date. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy.
